NHDES Hazardous Waste Coordinator Certification

Congratulations to Mike Rioux, Senior Regulatory Specialist and Technical Lead at St.Germain, who has successfully completed all the necessary requirements to become a Certified Hazardous Waste Coordinator in the State of New Hampshire.

The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) states that the goal of this program is to:

“empower each Hazardous Waste Coordinator to be responsible for ensuring that the generator is aware of. and in compliance with, applicable regulations relating to hazardous waste management, including, but not limited to, identification, storage, transportation, and disposal. DES wants to ensure that no business will be out of compliance due to a lack of knowledge of the regulations and is committed to enhancing environmental stewardship in New Hampshire through this training and certification program.”

St.Germain has similar vision and values:  to be sure that companies stay in compliance and thrive; that our staff keep up to date with regulations and other important information; and then the environment will benefit.
