Anthony Ortiz has joined St.Germain as an Environmental Scientist. Anthony will utilize his civil environmental engineering degree and experience to provide support to our Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Compliance and Environmental Assessment and Remediation teams.
Anthony will assist with soil and groundwater sampling, underground storage tank removals inspections, training, EHS compliance services, and more. He expands our team of experienced scientists and engineers and reinforces the protection we provide to our clients.
Prior to joining St.Germain, Anthony worked as the EHS Coordinator for a national lawn and garden company in the Lewiston/Auburn area providing training, inspections, permitting, compliance monitoring, and more. Anthony has also worked as both a Teaching and Research Assistant at the University of Maine, Orono where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
Anthony’s strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills were refined during his time as Student Body President at UMaine. He has received many awards for his efforts including the Dean’s Award for Outstanding Leadership and Student Leader of the Year. We are excited for Anthony to continue to refine his project organization and leadership skills. Anthony lives in Westbrook.
