Register for the Maine Hazardous and Universal Waste Training 9/19/18

Have you registered for the next Maine-Specific Hazardous & Universal Waste training yet? It’s jam packed with information and some fun too. Enroll here:

You’ll learn practical ways to apply Maine Department of Environmental Protection and federal regulations to your facility operations. The focus will be on: requirements for labeling, inspecting, packaging and storage of hazardous waste; unwritten regulatory policies and interpretations; and how to avoid common compliance pitfalls.

Plus you’ll receive in-depth training on: making hazardous waste determinations; exploring not widely known options of abbreviated permits to treat hazardous waste; state and federal spill reporting requirements, with detailed flow charts; and a step-by-step approach for preparing for a regulatory inspection.

There is an option for the training to include Maine biomedical waste requirements for no additional charge. We will also cover the EPA’s e-manifest which launched in June, 2018.
